I have been looking at themes of nature lately such as Reedbeds, which reflect my interest in Norfolk marshes,  and the anatomy of the brain, which reflects my previous life in Nursing.

After that I turned my attention to portraits of family members.

My recent work is a collaboration of an other passion:  botanic drawing set in a frame of more abstract embroidery.  This shows the opposite of accurate and anatomically correct plant life with my own more exotic interpretation.

I like textile art that tells a story to the viewer and is full of colour and excitement.
